Free Throw Contest

March Madness for our NCBA teams is right around the corner! We’ve had an amazing year of growth across every team and we’re confident that our players are going to give it their all for the Fairfield County Basketball League (FCBL) version of March Madness, which is the season ending tournament for each team. As we move into February, team practices will start prepping our teams for the season ending tourneys. One of the key aspects of basketball, especially in tournament action, is free throw shooting. And what better way to instill that perfect shooting form and some friendly competition than: 

NCBA’s ANNUAL FREE THROW SHOOTING CONTEST 

• Each team will finish our practices over the next week (before Winter Break) with free throw drills.
• Each player will receive 10 shots per practice. 20 total shots over two practices.
• The player with the highest % made from each team will win.
• There will be a separate total team prize for the team with the best percentage made.

REGISTRATION & DONATION

• We are suggesting a donation of $75/player to compete in the contest, but more importantly we would like 100% participation, so any amount is appreciated. 
• To donate a different amount please email NCBAHoops.org@gmail.com for instructions
• As a non-profit org, all donations help NCBA subsidize player scholarships, schedule extra gym time, run fall & spring clinics, and additional skills development training that help with the development of our NCBA program.

PRIZES

• Each team winner will receive a $25 gift card to Athletic Shoe Factory
• The Team Winner (with the best percentage made) will receive a $250 Amex Gift Card to use towards a Team Party/Dinner.
